The newest but by far not the youngest member of the Xebios family, that’s me: Michael Voetz — in charge of Product Realization & Development. I am a Biologist with enthusiasm for and some expertise in microbiology and molecular biology.

Before I joined Xebios in July 2022, I worked for more than 10 years as head of R&D in one of Xebios’ suppliers companies. So, I could witness the dynamics and success of Xebios right from the beginning. I was deeply impressed by the decisiveness, right feeling for the market and the really fair partnership across company boundaries.

Anyway, for me, it was not an easy step to become an employee of a Düsseldorf-based company because I was born and raised in Cologne — at the ‘good’ bank of the Rhine. It’s needless to say that at least the carnival, beer quality and football are on a much higher level there.

I am married and have an almost 14.y.o son. We love travelling together, enjoy good food and are never too serious, which makes life much easier!
